Krayden Incorporated, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, is one of the
largest distributors of adhesives, sealants, encapsulants, conformal
coating, soldering, cleaners, and solvents in the United States. For the
past three years, Krayden Inc. has been a recipient of the coveted Dow
Corning Distributor of the Year Award.However, for a company
known for its reliability and efficiency, Krayden's Denver office lacked
the lighting environment necessary to enhance its workers'
productivity. The densely packed, high-walled cubicles and low ceilings
kept Krayden's office dull and dark and left worker morale and

sunlight, manufacturers at H&H Enterprises installed BrightShelves
by Nysan Solar Control, a division of Hunter Douglas Contract. The
BrightShelf - easily retrofitted for existing window covering
applications - reflects natural daylight off of the ceiling deep into
the office. In the case of Krayden Inc., the BrightShelf, which is
designed in an ogee curve rather than a conventional flat shelf,
reflects light into the space four cubicles deep.The BrightShelf
installations not only increased worker morale due to exposure to
ambient daylight, but also supplemented the energy efficiency of the
Krayden office by reducing solar heat gain and use of electric lighting.
