The project took a part in competition organized by City of Cracow. Amongst basic elements it includes Philharmonic Hall, Sinfonietta, Musical School, Musical library, hotel, music park and amphitheater, and dormitory. The rest of the project scope was opened for private sector developers providing the opportunity to invest in water front apartment buildings. Achieving certain density targets will help ensure that both urban growth centers
develop as attractive and vibrant places, with an array of cultural
facilities, public institutions, and regional services. The original idea of rising (on the piles) all of that new development by one floor - to partially match surrounding road infrastructure, will not only provide special parking space for all guest and users, but also eliminate the high risk problem of the flood impact in this area.
