It is an environmentally symbiotic office built in the tea plantation. It packs a variety of elements into a simple square cube.
"Light and wind way""Use of natural environment""Variability""Connection of space""Semi-outdoor space""Warmth of atree""Local production for local consumption"
I quit the design act as much as possible, then, the structural and environmental forms were expressed directly as designs.simple, universal, powerful design. And we aimed for a building where nature, people and building closely resemble each other.
The south side three-layer well-through space becomes a space to which people are headed. Then, it becomes a variable buffer space and the adjusted light and wind envelop the building. The view of the tea plant spreads from 3F. And the large terrace facing here will relax and become a place for relaxation. There is a rooftop terrace with a nice view as you go up the stairs. It also becomes a variable building that changes its morphology depending on each season by using the natural environment. On the south side, the open ceiling space functions as a semi-outdoor space in summer and as a solarium space in winter.

Summer : It opens the front opening and avoids strong sunlight and it becomes a semi-outdoor space that passes light and wind.As the wind passes over the water feature of the front,In addition, heat of vaporization is deprived by dry mist and a cool wind enters.Due to the air duct piped in the ground, air cooled by geothermal heat comes inside.

Winter : It functions as a solarium and preserves warm air by solar radiation. Release the warmed air to the room.In the night when the temperature goes down, the inner side space is closed and it becomes an insulation space.Warm air comes in by the earth duct.
