This house has been built in a small [nokonoshima] island that can extend readily from the center of the city. The Hakata bay stretches to the south of the site. Other environments are enclosed by a rich forest. This house made the first floor from a ferroconcrete make, and made the second floor from wooden. The space that composes concrete, the tree, and iron as the main material is a space that can feel the light and shadow. The balcony of the second floor that can be wandered obscures the distance with nature in this house and the ambient surrounding.
