The project deals with the restoration of a single-family stone house in the holiday village of Kitries. The study emphasizes in the revitalization of the house together with the satisfaction of the new owners’ needs.
The first attempt was to change the interior design with the aim of adding a second bedroom and creating a single bathroom with shower. The modernization of the electrical and hydraulic installations continued with the main concern being the connection to the electricity grid and the provision of water supply to a water tank. Heating pump was installed for the energy upgrade of the house and the existing iron frames were replaced with new aluminum ones.
The main focus in the house is the béton cirè applied to the floor and the kitchen and bathroom surfaces, creating the identity of the space, which was then reinforced by the owners with refined furnishings.
