I had my Home Economics teacher telling me once, that the kitchen is supposed to be the cleanest part of the house. It is where you wash your hands, you cook, you eat and everything connected to consumption. Everything got to be spotless, grease-less clean, from stove tops, microwave, baker, pans, dishwasher, sink, etc. At some point, when all of these have been surely squeaky clean, you’d finally feel comfortable and relieved… or do you?
In this list, we are going to take a look into a couple of kitchens that aren’t only made to shimmer, but to impress as well.
1. Who wouldn’t like to spend cooking around Spanish-inspired cuisine in a Spanish-inspired kitchen? Commune’s Ramin Shamshiri’s Los Feliz, California home is beautified not only from the outside but also in the inside with its kitchen of Hispano-Moresque architecture that lingers around the 1920s spirit of arched windows and colored arched cabinets, reminding a lot of the Moorish architecture.
2. Chanel creative Amanda Harlech, fancied in leaving some of her restored 18th century Shropshire farmer’s cottage with the original plaster walls. History waved essence around the place with a robin’s egg blue hutch and her whippets around the Aga range.
3. Nothing beats more than what a photographer can do with photography. Transforming his kitchen with the sense of Mediterranean, while gathering up materials and antiques from all over the globe, like Marseille, and the circa-1910.
4. When you’re a family with a home containing a beautiful kitchen, it just makes sense to have it designed to be kid-friendly. Interior designers Alexandra and Michael Misczynski designed their 1920s Hollywood hills villa with sturdy stone floored kitchen and an 18th century table.
5. Daria Werbowy doesn’t want to go complex but still was able to catch our sight with her Argentinian kitchen of checkerboard-tiled floor.
6. It wouldn’t sound too ironic that a celebrity cookbook author, like Sandra Lee, designs her kitchen with bookshelves. On top of that, there’s a well-lit cooking area and a marble counter space.
7. Model Carolyn Murphy just feels like there’s nothing wrong in wanting to be in vacation when she’s stewing around her kitchen. With a marble farm sink, and terra cotta tiles, it feels like either Marseille or Malibu around.
Kitchens can be adorned in the most technological way possible with all the easy kitchen gadgets and power equipments, what other best way to boom your cooking space even more by designing it like it’s your personal art show.
