The interiors of this Hollywood writer-director's home were designed with the ultra-chic West Hollywood neighborhood in mind. Located in the penthouse of a sought-after complex by architect Lorcan O’Herlihy, the modern interiors focus on strong textures and a whimsical color balance. The designer was able to blend the striking green color of the building’s exterior and garden with a highly saturated interior color palette. Furthermore, the light-filled atrium in the center of the space allowed for immense natural light that dictated the casual, breezy design. The cozy living room includes signature pieces by the designer, including her studio’s October sofa and chair, orange otto-to-go (ottoman), and sirk side table that set the modern mood. Highlighted with deep fall colors, the living room accents merge playfully with the furniture. The master bedroom is similarly decorated in bright hues that balance and accentuate the natural play of color in the garden nook.
