King Henry's Road
Loft extension concept design for a small family. The idea is to create a semi open and interesting playroom/ sleeping area for the children.
The proposed curve plywood storage/ display unit is strategically placed to accentuate the diagonal spatial relationship in the loft and to avoid compartmentalisation of the
small space.
It is a detached light weight furniture insert. It functions as a "soft" dividing wall separating the new playroom from the existing laundry area and the new study area. The openings along the curve wall not only allow spatial and visual connections within the loft space, they also allow natural lights to distribute to different parts of the space.
