With this program for King’s College Polaris World School we would like to present the result of a line of thought, of a sensibility, of an architectural positioning, that rises in the recent past inherited from the Modern Architecture Movement but respecting all our traditional Architecture.
In the widest way and superseded all the expectations generated by the scientific reason through rationalism, we frame Architecture like an activity of society cultural production. We understand it like human manifestation and the expression of the aspirations and concerns of a time. We set it up not only like reason, technique and functionalism; for us, Architecture contemplates contingency, expression, technology, beauty, habitat…, that is, cultural and historic dimension.
From that starting point, even more being an educational building, we undertake the challenge of contemplating, in addition to functional questions, answers to educational character of the building and its representative importance.
