Modern, eco-friendly kindergarten building based on a side of a Rohrschacherberg's hill (Switzerland) provides an outstanding facility for kids to learn and play. The concept is based on the world-wide known Rubik's Snake toy. Kids and teachers can enjoy flexible space arrangement, variety of tactile material inside and out of the building. Circulation is all combined into one large multifunctional atrium space, which forms the full of light heart of the building. The Rubik's Snake reaches over the existing road to provide a link with the existing school facility. Building's roof is covered with grass and timber decking which seamlessly integrate into the landscape.
