“We didn’t fully appreciate how complicated a project we were taking on when we purchased a penthouse storage space in Manhattan with the intent of creating a 4-bedroom apartment. Richard’s design was important to us, but his ability to guide us through the red tape of structural changes and code compliance was just as critical to our success.”

DESIGN
The project, completed in 3 phases, included the complete renovation of five penthouse level maids quarters into one single family residence with a wraparound terrace and panoramic views of the New York City skyline. The last phase included the addition of new one story bedroom and den on the existing roof.
