The design incorporates several strategies for high density and high rise living in a tropical climate to create a better living environment with a balance of both indoor and outdoor lifestyle that features.
1. Permanently natural ventilated common corridor and common area.
2. Deep horizontal fins that provide sun and rain shading to the internal spaces of the units that are mostly west facing toward KL city skyline. These horizontal fins also reduce solar heat gain on the building.
3. Sky gardens and sky lounge are placed on various levels in the building to allow residents to enjoy the panoramic view of KL, soothing breeze and the natural outdoor environment.
The building structure consists primarily of concrete frame and cladded with aluminium composite panels.
The aluminium composite panels feature at the podium are designed to be irregular and faceted allowing the use of a single material to create a dynamic appearance whilst concealing the carpark behind.
On the tower, the façade is cladded in dark bronze aluminium composite panels. The building seemingly evolves throughout the day depending on the position of the sun. In the morning, the building appears to be darker, however as the sun gradually rises, it appears to be slowly awakened from its slumber. In the evening, when the evening sun strikes the cladding, the reflection gives the building a distinctive exquisite glow, announcing its presence.
