KARLA, a company that produces bold, innovative events and creates inventive floral arrangements, requested a design for their 12,000-square-foot converted warehouse that would reflect their aesthetic. In response, the design creates a silky space that acts as the luminous backdrop for the company.
Throughout the project, ever-present light elements radiate. A translucent wall of light fills the reception area with luminosity. The conference room is drenched in the muted light that emanates from the full height acrylic panels.
The serenity of each monochromatic space is interrupted only by intermittent introductions of contrasting materials. Textural wallpaper and the glossy sheen of the epoxy floor add a subtle complexity to the monochromatic color scheme of the space.
Flanked by royal palms and bamboo, KARLA is nestled into an ordered landscaped garden that is an extension of its interiors.
