Inspired by crystallization, the exterior design of new building showcases vertical aluminum strips and super-white laminated glass curtains, creating a facade that sparkles under varying daylight conditions. Interlocking glass boxes on different levels, accompanied by green balconies, further enhance the building's aesthetics. From the main entrance, the transparent elegance contrasts with the minimalist gray-white architectural forms, reminiscent of rugged stones concealing inner clarity.
This project integrates flexible shared spaces and balconies filled with greenery across its floors. Despite spatial constraints, the design maximizes functionality by organizing three levels: one for future high-density development to the south, standard offices facing the adjacent 6-meter green belt to the north, and a glass-box conference room surrounded by greenery to mitigate western sun exposure. Vertically, the building features interconnected spaces: the employee cafeteria on the 9th floor, executive offices on the 8th floor, a communal staircase space on the 6th to 7th floors, and diverse shared spaces on the 5th floor (including the main entrance hall, open exhibition area, lecture hall, interview area, and flexible workstations), fostering a comfortable and reassuring working environment for employees. The ground floor consists of a lobby and retail spaces, while levels 2 to 4 are dedicated to leased offices. Floors 5 to 9 accommodate KANTO-PPC's offices, meeting rooms, and employee cafeteria. On the 9th-floor terrace, adjacent to the indoor employee cafeteria, we offer a diverse edible landscape. Aligned with the cafeteria's curved glass facade, the area is divided into herb, fruit-picking, vegetable, and leisure zones, enabling employees to engage in gardening activities and relax amidst nature. This area serves as a joyful retreat, integrating work and leisure experiences, in line with the project's original design approach.
A selection of native trees, known for their seasonal changes and bird-attracting qualities, infuse the pedestrian pathways with lively array of colors and textures. Along the eastern side, diverse maple trees add patches of diverse multicolored leaves, while elegant Lagerstroemia flowers adorn the west. The plaza features scattered terrazzo benches, while the air is with the aroma of layered bushes.
