Competition proposal: temporary river pavilion for Turku 2011 - European Capital of Culture -festivities. Ideas & themes: The rather high pavilion has a collapsible structure and thus can be moved up and down the river even through the low bridges. The pavilion uses the river views as a backdrop for the events inside. The simple but flexible space forms a nice platform for various events and activities.
