The single family house adapts to the site in regards to the view, sun and outdoor areas. It has two floors and the ground floor is partially built into the terrain and contains the entrance. The large and spacious entrance hall has nearly 6 meters ceiling height and divides the house in two with windows from the floor to the ceiling.
The first floor includes a living room, kitchen and a master bedroom with bathroom and sauna. The living room and kitchen is large and spacious with its 86 m2 floor space. Good ceiling height and floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of natural light and maintains the great view. Large patio doors brings the nature in on warm summer days.
The ground floor includes bedrooms, bathroom, TV room, library, technical rooms, storage and double garage with direct entry to the house.
The idea was to use only a few materials to provide a distinctive and sleek look. The main materials are glass, steel, plastered block work, oak and granite. Exterior walls are 350mm bricks with fiber plaster both inside and outside. The bay windows are cladded with cedar and all fittings and roofing are performed in preweathered zinc.
Waterborne floor heating via geothermal heat pump and energy well. Balanced ventilation, heat recovery and smart house solutions. Solar reflective/self-cleaning windows and the sun shading is integrated in the glass.
