As architect for many Joey restaurants throughout western Canada and Washington state, we completed the flagship, two storey Burnaby location in 2010. The wood, brick and steel of the streamlined exterior continue inside to create rich and warm interior with a variety of seating arrangements, a friendly bar and Joey`s signature "open kitchen". The roof top patio seating features stacking glass doors, and canopies that blend the inside and out. On all levels, creative lighting highlights the richness of the materials while giving an intimacy to the space.
