Situated along an unobstructed view corridor to the ocean, this residence becomes an instrument for visual engagement between the intimacy of the wooded site and the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean. Program elements are organized around a skylight-illuminated stair and two-story cabinetry wall which also serves as the primary storage location for the client’s extensive pottery collection. This circulation spine culminates in a panoramic view from a roof garden.
