Trebbianno Showroom
The recently renovated Trebbianno
showroom, located in Midtown Manhattan, offers the ultimate style marketplace.
The architect, Delphine Mauroit, has considered the showroom’s most essential
needs, as an exciting marketing location for savvy sellers and buyers. Although
bounded by Fashion Week’s tight schedule, Delphine has succeeded in
transforming the space into a young and stylish NYC venue in only 3 weeks.
The 2,000 square feet site has a
prominent sense of open-space, and spreads over 3 levels, each to represent a
different brand.
The fourth floor’s space is used
to present 2 bag brands. The room, therefore, is divided in the middle by light
semi-translucent shades. One of the brands is displayed on Plexiglas shelves
that were hanged on metal wires, and are flexible – could be moved and removed.
The translucent shelves and chairs complement the wooden table and floor, as
well as the additional silver displays. The other side of the room, led by
shades of brown, is somewhat of a different sort. The shelves are wooden, so
are the table and chairs, and the carpet is beige. Still, the half-room
perfectly accompanies the whole, and contributes to the open-space feel.
The next room presents the
phenomenally-performed Jessica Simpson accessories brand. Just like the
trademark, the showroom’s interior represents a design understanding that takes
the brand where it aspires, considering its style and outline. The jewelry is
presented on white displays, within glass boxes. The front glass is released by
an easy-push mechanism, to allow a comfortable everyday use. Hardware is
minimal and color white dominates the room, as light and brightness are
important features of the overall design. DMDesign delivered the looked-for
result – a fun & girly showroom for a young & contemporary brand, one
to make you “Share a Smile,” “Feel your Heart.”
The second floor’s room, which is
used to display mainly jewelry, is cheerful and bright. The architect has
employed large white-lacquer shelves against the walls, which are lit by bulbs
constructed under the shelves above.
In planning the design, Delphine called into play the high ceilings, wooden
floors and large windows, all to maximize space and accentuate a specious and
illuminated feel. Taken as a whole, the design is minimalistic, yet functional
and trendy: the interior arrangements answer the purpose of an in-vogue
background for the latest models of designer brands.
