JAZZ Premium-Quarter is a heritage of modernism architecture. Industrial buildings of the Children's Book former printing house were completely redeveloped. We have preserved the design of industrial buildings, using their frame to create new purpose-built objects, including apartments. The symbol of the entire complex transformation became the mosaic, which was restored at our initiative. Previously, this mosaic decorated the front edge surface of one of the printing house buildings. First, we inspected the mosaic panel in detail, then drew up a cartogram scheme, indicating all losses and defects, and only afterwards developed a restoration project. The panel coloristics significantly influenced the palette of the project’s main building.
The architects gave the premium-quarter a musical feel by implementing a synthesis of styles, shapes, and dimensions. The unique landscape design concept of the courtyard-park, inspired by the High Line Park in New York, strikes with its variety of trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
The quarter consists of 7 buildings with various facades, each of which is named after iconic jazz figures and has its own image and character, at the same time maintaining the common timeless style of European architecture. Moscow architectural bureau “Speech” acted as the project General Designer.
The JAZZ Quarter offers 136 layout options for flats, apartments, penthouses, and townhouses. All of them are equipped with the most comprehensive set of utility systems. This means all-year-round hot water, water purification to the drinking water level, availability of high-speed silent Schindler elevators, fresh air circulation due to the central forced ventilation system.
Convenient transport accessibility, proximity to the main parks of the capital, and exceptional silence make JAZZ an ideal place for connoisseurs of comfortable living.
