PAVILIONS THAT HAVE NO FIXED FORM AND ALLOW FREE COLLABORATION BETWEEN ARCHITECT AND USER
This is a pavilion using the traditional Japanese Wooden Joint.
The pavilion is made of wood wire and 3D printed metal joints.
It can be transformed into a chair, a table, a shelf, or an exhibition space, depending on the units needed. There is no fixed shape.
People who want to buy one can get a complete product that is all assembled, or they can buy only the parts and assemble it by themselves.
Furthermore, as long as you have a 3D printer, you can output the parts and create it yourself anywhere in the world.
Depending on the stance of the person who wants to create this pavilion, the percentage of collaboration between the designer and the individual can be freely changed from 0% to 100%.
This is a project that explores a new way for the creator and the user to interact with the space.
This work is a collaboration between Takaaki Fuji + Yuko Fuji Architecture and HQ (Japanese computational design firm).
