Design of a new convention center
for the city of Jackson. The facility provides exhibit hall, ballroom, meeting
/ breakout, kitchen and support function areas. Phase I of the project involved
the design and construction of the MS Telecommunications Conference and
Training Center (Tel-Com Center). Phase II built a new convention center
connected to the TelCom Center. Together, these facilities form the Jackson
Convention Complex, providing a total of approximately 330,000 GSF
state-of-the-art, flexible meeting/conference space. The facility is LEED
certified. Construction cost: $66.9 Million Convention Center: $52.6 Million /
