House Jackson is a contemporary and sustainable family home near the banks of the River Thames in Buckinghamshire. It was designed and built by Baufritz, who were chosen because of their exceptional design and construction standards. Baufritz’s prefabricated timber frame construction method meant that the house was erected within three days, and fully complete soon afterwards.
The crisp white rendering with large areas of grey framed glazing gives the exterior of the building a modernist look. Inside, a central feature staircase, flooded by light from a large roof window, is surrounded by an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, and separate more intimate living areas. Upstairs there are four generous bedrooms, two of which have adjoining balconies to the rear of the house, two en-suite bathrooms, a master bathroom and a study.
