Located at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, Izakaya is a 200 seat, modern Japanese restaurant.
Designed for Chef Michael Schulson, Izakaya’s design concept reflects common elements found in Japanese culture: sake, geishas, pagodas and shoji screens.
Diners enter over a “floating” glass bridge that leads into the soaring, 9,000 square foot space. From the entry, the space opens up visually where diners can experience a unique bar setting, sushi and robotayaki counters, as wall as a fashionable lounge.
In keeping with the overall design concept, the sexy restaurant boasts custom designed furniture as well as artwork specifically commissioned for the restaurant.
