Isaac Mizrahi Spring 2009 RTW Fashion Show

For
the Spring Summer collections, we were commissioned to create a space
collaboratively with lighting designer Michael Chybowski, that evoked
transformation through color and light.
We
designed a u-shaped runway that supported a highly stylized lighting
treatment inspired by Olafur Eliasson, as models walked through 3 color
temperatures of light - uv, sodium vapor and incandescent. The ultimate
effect was to see the collection emerge from a murky purple-blackness,
through greyness, to full vibrant color. http://lot71.com/project/27
