Examining the delicate balance between the natural and the artificial in Singapore, we photographed light filtering through trees in the natural rainforest. In our abstracted drawing of this, we replaced the natural light from the photograph with 100% solar lights. In nature, sunlight filters through trees from above. Our constructed proposal inverts the natural relationship, using artificial light that emanates from below, while still using the sunlight from above for power. The proposal mimics nature and also depends on nature.
