Intra exhibiton space wass designed as an urban space ‘’a small town’’. It welcomess the visitors from three sides -three entrance points from the three most frequent passways around the center. All three streets come together in the center of Intra exhibiton space and becomes the town’s marketplace. The market functions as an open transitional space for meetings, sharing information, knowledge, ideas,… the atmosphere is lively, pleasant and cheerful. The market space is shaped by surrounding ‘’houses’’. They represent individual exhibiton spaces (interior lights are inside the houses), technical areas, presentation rooms, areas for closed meetings and service areas. These smaller spaces that open up to the central “market” create individual lighting ambiences and areas for conversation, retreat and rest as well. The central market area is an open, transitional space intended for quick meetings, resting while enjoying drinks and food. The path through space is not one-way because of three entrances and a large area and this way it offers to the visitor different possibilty of experiencing the exhibition.
The size of the exhibiton space dictates a breakdown into smaller, human-friendly environments. The volume of the objects follows a programm scheme of individual ‘’houses’’ around the open space.
Activity that requires intimacy and distance form the noise works better in a separate environment. This is why it is located inside the housing frames, which, however, open up to the market and is their content and is visible from the central market space. Visually, the exhibiton layout with adding the colors and shapes becomes striking, memorable and unique.
