This project would solve two main tasks, namely, the first - save the historical and architectural integrity of the area. Therefore, a monument of Leonardo Da Vinci, greenery, benches, lighting, paving left intact. And the second - to bring to the look of the area and the area as urban object at all something new, at the same time expanding its functions. In most cases, the area is a kind of plane with the attached monuments and greenery, or other small forms. Therefore, just as the architect of El Lissitzky, in modern language, he added to the outline of architects-constructivists third dimension as well, and I would like to add volume to the area as planar object. On the drawing of area paving La Scala was imposed pattern, similar to the pattern of paving another famous square in Italy, Place du Capitole and the drawing, in the language of architects working with 3-D programs has been "squeezed out" up with increasing height toward the center of the square. Some of the figure turned to the stairs, the other in the rest spaces with benches placed around the perimeter and vases with flowers. The lateral planes platforms accommodate translucent structures. Thus, a new object on the one hand is the transparent dome to the monument and recreation spaces, located on the ground level, transforming the existing area of the Pantheon of Leonardo da Vinci, on the other hand, it is as if floating above the area of the recreation area and contemplation, enabling an addition besides rest to have a look at the whole area and its surrounding buildings from above. The new volumes located on the ground level at the beginning of the stairs provides to arrange a small souvenir shops, newsstands, cafes, where you could drink a cup of coffee before the show, waiting for companion. Stylistically, these volumes are solved in the style of classical architecture with columns and cornices, located on the outside of the volume. This technique stylistically combines the architecture of new facility with the surrounding buildings. Four through passages provide passing into the Pantheon and twelve overlapping stairs lead to the top of the dome. Upstairs, on the monument is a transparent dome. The stained glass windows with inserts of colored glass are used, which further creates an interesting play of colors on sunny days.
All this functionally transforms the area not only in the recreation space, but also in an interesting feature for both the residents of Milan, as well as for tourists.
