CONCEPT
The search for not only urban but also visual and emotional continuity with the town is the starting point of the design process and the guidelines to the entire project. This principle has to be confronted with the need to make an intervention charaterized by well-defined special needs buildings, even with regard to the surroundings. Continuity and recognition, however, should not weaken each other but contribute equally to the definition of intervention. The buildings though different in their recognition will be a part of project-process that can be complited even in different timing indipendent plots. It was chosen to saturate the area of the competition and made cuts reproducings the direction of the towns axes so defining the orientation of the buidings themselves. Inside the so defined grid the urban and archietctural needs of the buildings led to their settlement.
Plan articulation established, project rises up naturally from the ground (soil) that generates and attends it (roof garden) up to different levels descending from the spacial and emotional needs.
