Laconic minimalism with light eco-style flirting or
how we designed an apartment in Toronto.

When the apartment has a lot of free space and the interior is not burdened with unnecessary details, there is a feeling of limitless freedom. It was this ease that a Canadian family wanted to feel in their new apartment without intrusive boundaries. Minimalism was chosen as the basis for the interior design of the apartment. Laconic shapes, clear geometry and translucent pastel shades all blend in very well and dissolve in the air.

Minimalist moods in the interior allowed the designers to bring some touches that are close to the owners of the apartment. Love for nature and natural materials is read every square meter. Design accessories in eco-style not only helped to decorate the apartment neatly, but also created the stylish accents needed to dilute the monochrome interior.

Studio kitchen with panoramic windows filled with air and sunlight. Beige and milk shades have become the main backdrop. Wooden panels, abstract paintings and green plants have added colors and some dynamics.
The studio is divided into two areas: a place for family holidays and a dining area. In the center of the room is an angular sofa and armchairs with a coffee table. It is also easy to place a friends company for shared leisure. In the corner of the room, the fireplace, which is simply needed in the northern country, was organically incorporated.
A massive dark wood dining table sits by the window. During the family breakfast, the sun’s rays will shine through the window, filling the room with warmth and radiance. The most striking element is the lamps with imitation of green grass. So many original products in the design of the living room attract attention and look fantastic!

The bedroom design combines elements of modern classics, minimalism and a bit of avant-garde. Decorating the walls with embossed panels visually enlarges the small room, while light shades add light and space. The centerpiece is the catwalk, which houses key design highlights: a grass-imitated lamp, art objects and a voluminous wall panel.

The design of the nursery continues the single concept of style throughout the apartment. Only some juicy accents add a cheerful mood and create a harmonious atmosphere with pastel undertones.

The peculiarity of the design of the bathroom was the use of authoring technology of the studio “Cult of Design”. The combination of concrete, wood, glass and greens creates a unique mix of styles and yet practical and comfortable atmosphere!

The apartment was repaired using only environmentally friendly materials. The abundance of wood is literally felt in the air, where the light aroma of wood floats. The modern design of the apartment implies the equipment with all the amenities that ensure a comfortable life for every family member. Style minimalism remains one of the trend and does not get tired in 1-2 years. In such a space, the residents are overwhelmed not only by the sense of enjoyment of impeccable aesthetics, but also by the delight of thoughtful comforts!
