Interdisciplinary cluster at the Innovation Science and Technology Center of Moscow State University
The cluster is intended for interdisciplinary research on technology and humans.
The central atrium can host specialized events. The atrium space is transformable: mobile tubs and seats can be moved and free up the central area to accommodate exhibition pavilions.
The shape of the mafs is based on a hexagon, as a reference to chemical formulas. The spiral mesh structure, thanks to small lamps attached to it, illuminates the atrium space. This installation, reminiscent of a DNA molecule, looks different from different angles, being essentially an interactive, but static art object in execution.
Thanks to the abundance of greenery, a huge transparent glass dome, and the use of the same finishing in the interior as on the facades, the atrium creates a feeling of outdoor space. The main theme of the artium and recreation spaces was the combination of images of technology and nature.
