From Yu Chu’s Entrance Foyer, pivot screen doors open out into Purple Jade, encouraging guests to spill into the bar for post-dinner drinks. The brick flooring from Yu Chu continues the street alley theme, but transitioned into a world where the club scene celebrates a night about to heat up.Poppy flower-inspired colours on the fabric panelling adorning the walls, smoky black mirrors and metal panels rounded up in a design rich in Art Deco style together evoke an exotic den. Completing the picture are exquisitely embroidered Chinese lamps and hostesses dressed to evoke nostalgia, slowing the perceived passage of time.The dining table height bar counter serves as a snack table from which to view performances on the stage. The service area behind the bar counter is lowered so as not to obstruct views to the stage yet enable the provision of immediate and personalised service.There are three main spaces within the bar lounge offering unhindered views to performances on the stage. The Entrance bar is an open space with club seating, a sushi bar and cocktail tables offering a full view of the stage. The pod seating area comprises black painted screens creating private shells of large opium beds on which guests can relax and unwind. To add a twist to the overall atmosphere, a Wine Tasting Area offers a communal tapas counter and a black mirror wine display fridge.
