As part of a global advertising campaign, Intel hired MARCH to design a business complex of the future showing how the technology they are developing will be utilized in the workplace roughly 20 years from now. Each shot included actors comped into virtual sets that were based around various underlying narratives (not products or devices); themes included such topics as information security, remote networking and cloud computing. The brief called for three, key, programmatic environments (an IT lab, a public atrium and a data-center vault), but was otherwise open to creative interpretation. As a result, our approach became part architectural design (a building), part industrial design (levitating, funneled-glass servers cooled through gills in the floors and ceilings) and part graphic design (interfaces, displays etc.). MARCH designed all the spaces and systems, creative directed all the shots and executed all the high-resolution image production in-house. Due to copyright restrictions, the Intel work presented on this site is MARCH design imagery only, not actual campaign content.
