Why do people design a house with large openings facing neighbours or side boundary fences? Can people design a house with multiple entries incorporate with landscape rather than a single entry door facing the street?
The concept of this design is to change the way of how people enter, and exit a house. It also creates different perceptions from inside out, or vice versa. In correspondence with the view, privacy and suburban living environment.
The proposed house is designed with a series of terraces in various levels which link with its landscape and turn the house into a garden with multiple entries. The living and dining areas emerged to the open courtyard, which enclosed by brick walls with various height. The brick walls filter visual contact to neighbours, but also have an open view to the city skyline. The timber lightwells insert into the house with natural light, as well as extracting hot air. They also have the function to redirect perception to the sky and encourage people to feel the nature.
