Proposal to Toronto East General Hospital (Innovation Centre)
The occupants of this specific innovation centre are six full time staff of TEGH plus patients and hospital staff. The intention of this innovation centre is to create an environment suitable for all
visitors to reach their fullest potential and complete their desired objectives. Concept relates the space to a forest clearing. The main focus of the concept is to take the idea of connectivity that clearing promotes and develop the space through organic shapes of nature with respect of natural lighting, visibility and multi functional space for a diverse amount of organisms and tasks. Hamid Shahi collaborated with Derek Appajh and Monifa Charles during this proposal.
