The ephemeral condition of provisional building, removable and reusable, determines the choice of the structural system: a scaffold able to minimize the traces in the site.
The scaffold also acts as a support for three coverings: a waterproof polycarbonate translucent skin, a shading mesh that filters sunlight and a protect metal mesh that surrounds the building.
Placing the light source at ground level, between the polycarbonate and the shading mesh illuminates the interstitial space. Thus the light source is not seen and the coverings act as diffusers, illuminating the interior space of the building. From the outside, the overlapping coverings generate a halo of light that blurs the boundaries of the building.
The interstitial space expands on the edges. Four spotlights, located at the corners of the building, illuminate from the ground the spheres icons that identify the building.
At dusk, the light gravitates as a line of light that highlights the building. At night, the light goes up to fill the interstitial space and complete the halo.
