A place designed for individual sporting activities, climbing, gymnastics, body care and wellness, its contained size does not allow for the team game of the most common sports, but its upward tension recalls places of reflection of another dimension. The desire to create a meeting space and not just a place for competition aimed at sociability rather than confrontation, a place that transforms itself into a didactic room, a place for cultural promotion, not just of the passion for the mountains, a place for relationships and conviviality. The container of the gym is a space sufficient for reduced traditional sporting activities, configured for a limited number of people bound by its intimate dimension, who find themselves in an environment characterised by verticality, height, upward tension, a space dotted with small coloured objects that animate the vertical, slanted and irregular walls, a modern cave with jagged antlers in which the sky, deep blue, stretches out to the north. In the research on the architectural form great attention was paid to the environmental insertion, which was quite difficult given the height required by the gym and the impossibility of going deep, the tension was to search for a mediation between the ground maintained as a lawn and the envelope of the gym; the lower part is covered by an artificial hill that allows the lawn to continue above, becoming a green cover and a place of transit, a meeting place, a new point of view to look around, a small auditorium for possible performances.
