INCANTA is a masterpiece brought to life by well-traveled Filipino creative visionaries with the concept of creating a space taking back to the origins of humanity — the very first kind of structure, a cave. Spearheaded by Arch. Angelo Blay, the Finishing and Interior Architect of the project, the interiors have been conceptualized through a thorough synthesis of different caves and natural-rock formations from around the world: Q'enqo Grande from the Cusco Region in Peru, the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA, and the Animasola Island Rocks from Burias, Masbate, Philippines.
The details came from a multitude of cultural and creative liberation, starting with the woman breaking from the wall, symbolizing freedom and empowerment. Secondly, the cave walls remind us of humans who shaped their habitual and social spaces in the past, representing being one with nature's existing conditions, which is the true essence of design and construction.
The interior is highlighted with the provision of star lights and a sculptural moon, completing the cosmic-themed immersive experience, recreating the idea of dining and socializing under the moonlight and the stars. Arched, full-height glass windows have been designed to transition from the inside to the outside seamlessly. Contrary to what has been the norm for the industry of trying to create the "most precise" construction finishing methodologies using factory-made, straight, and wrinkle-free boards, walls, and ceiling panels, this project has been finished completely handmade - including the masonry stone-like, "cave wall" accents. No corners have been straightened. Curved, softened edges and handmade elements for all the installations have become the fusion of imperfection, making it a one-of-a-kind architectural marvel.
INCANTA has been constructed and finished by NUVION, being the general contractor for all the construction works for the project.
