The IMDEA Nanociencia Foundation, created by a joint initiative of the regional Government of Madrid and the Ministry of Science and Education of the Government of Spain, manages the IMDEA Nanociencia Institute. This new interdisciplinary research centre aims at becoming a flexible framework to create new internationally competitive research groups by hybridising some of the best scientist s in Madrid dedicated to the exploration of basic nanosciencie with recognized researches.
This representative building ,with 8.200 m2 of total built area over a 4.700 m2 plot area develops 30 specialised laboratories and it has been design under demanding principles of sustainability.
