"Hard and soft matter or man and woman"
The design evokes the image of a soft female body hovering around a sturdy male skeleton made of bare concrete frames. Red steel panels are used to convey a tender female form: a distorted shape inspired by the image of a spine permeating and protruding through the skin. Hard and soft matter. The design expresses the principle of those polarities by employing the metaphors of man and woman. This is an Italian restaurant with an 11 meters high dining hall and a floating deck.
