We envisioned an architecture free of superfluous elements, yet one that embraces the essential with the utmost sophistication. We found in art the ideal medium to establish a dialogue with the neighborhood and to express our position. Visual artist Heloísa Crocco filled the concrete lines with her Topomorphic Alphabet work, featured in the brise-soleils and the ground-floor panel. Her language, rich in codes and symbolism, builds a bridge between the ancestral and the contemporary.
The result is a living, dynamic façade, positioned at the threshold between interior and exterior, and between architecture and art. This architecture speaks of our essence and highest values, inviting exploration of the intersections between the natural and the urban.
Buildings are also citizens; they occupy and share urban space. They engage in dialogue with the city through their architecture—an extension of the individual personality of their residents. Internally, architecture should enable the contemplation of the landscape. Externally, it should aspire to be contemplated. Throughout Smart’s trajectory of innovation and responsibility, Iguaçu establishes a new aesthetic and technical benchmark, redefining standards of comfort and thermo-acoustic efficiency. A project that brings together Smart’s contemporary architecture, the art of Heloísa Crocco, and design by Saccaro.
