“Igenus Immobilien” is a medium-sized company based in Munich. It was founded in 1970 and is now managed by Martin Riedl in the second generation. The team of eight employees addresses the mediation of commercial properties. One of the the maintasks was to create a setting that offers a pleasant working environment for all staff members and does justice to their activities. In addition to the demand for a lot of storage space for document files, there has been also the wish to create an open and bright office space. Besides workplaces a representative conference room for internal meetings and customer appointments as well as an appropriate entrance situation should be created. The individual two-person offices can be closed or opened by integrated sliding doors. In this way they not only achieve acoustic and visual separation but also enable quiet working. The choice of materials and surfaces supports the brightness of the several spaces and creates a warm atmosphere which stands out from usual grey office colours. A bright palette of white and beige tonalities forms the creative basis for the design. This is supplemented and accentuated in individual details and the selection of upholstery fabrics in blue and rose. In addition, dark-stained oak furniture and delicate black accessories form a contrast to the calm environment.
