This is a proposal for the House of Lady Gaga, done during the ICARCH International Architectural Competition. We pretty much had no restrictions as to locations and creation. Therefore the proposed location was in New York City nearby where Lady Gaga started to perform, Ludlow & Stanton streets. The house turns on itself as it searches the urban space in all directions. The architecture inserts itself into the existing urban fabric. Designed on three floors, guest room, main bedroom & two balconies, this little corner of paradise is perfect a long term or temporary stay that fits into Lady Gaga’s lifestyle. Why should I win? Firstly, not knowingly this competition had no winners; it was simply to submit the projects for pure creation. Secondly it was believed that our submittals would have been shown to Lady Gaga herself but that never happened. I would like to find out how this project would fare in a real competition.
