Positioning the mosque in the center of Eleşkirt between the creek, circulation areas and the green area and building a magnificent central mosque in the city and even in the region became the main parameters of the design. In search of a form that can appeal to the perception of the mosque in the society, the mosque space, mass, minaret, fountain and all structural elements were designed and composed in harmony with the main line.
The main space geometry was obtained by cutting a whole hemisphere with semicircular planes from all four sides and placing it on a square base. We shaped the structure by converging on the ground at the four corners of the four large span arches to take the load of the dome, turning it into a curtain L column. This massive, structural geometry enables the mosque to be perceived with equivalent representation from four directions.
