The site is in a nearby quiet residential street from rich green Senzokuike Park.
However, since the site is surrounded by residences, solar access is limited.
Since sunshine from east and west was not expected to be favorable, north and south were opened widely.
The residence consists of four layers being basement, first floor, second floor and roof storey (roof) levels.
The basement level with a reading room obtains the same sunshine as the first floor by being connected with a light well.
The in-floor heating of the basement which utilizes late night power usage not only heats the first floor but helps warm the second floor.
Three exterior spaces are used for dining or reading.
The place seems like a resort, especially with the pool for use during summer by children, installed on the roof terrace overlooking Senzokuike
