The project is a new extension to an existing log cabin in the mountains of southern Norway. The new building to the north on the site is linked to the existing cabin with a small in between structure with open glass facades. The new structure creates a sheltered entrance patio to the west to prevent snowdrift from the north clogging up the entrance area. On the eastern side of the cabin a new tranquil morning seating area is created in between the existing and the new building.
