Hyper-Ventilate

Hyper-Ventilate attempts to dislodge the aromas from familiar objects by embedding them in an anonymous surface. As wind and light move through the curtain, scents are proportionally carried and amplified throughout the immediate environment addressing issues of territory and sensation. The surface is constructed from laser-cut friction fit felt modules of two varying opacities and the connected pieces form pockets within the curtain to hold and visually conceal the figurative object associated with each scent.
