In continuation of DBG’s inherent methodology we propose to celebrate the role that urban agriculture can play in an urban setting. This time around, we will be developing a prototype of the food growth cycle starting with the seed. The cart will act as a mechanism for displaying the quantitative benefits that the system will yield.
DBG is envisioning that the food cart acts similar to a presentation in a science fair thereby educating its visitors with a twist on the natural processes that bring food to our plates. We will use recycled materials and will focus on the entire cycle of the cart from its construction and its transport to the event as well as its life after the event.
The DBG team is a huge fan of The Stop and their initiatives as well as their accomplishments and goals. We believe that The Stop and DBG make a great team and that our mission fits within that of The Stop.
