The central Cascades are known as a haven for year-round recreation, from skiing in the winter to hiking and biking in the summer. We chose to highlight the project in late Summer when the grasses are tall and dry, and the evergreen trees are seen through a slight haze in the air. There is the feeling of that sticky kind of heat you experience as it is just about to turn from Summer to Fall.

These cabins are the first from prefab company Buildhouse out of Washington State. The A-Frame utilizes one of the latest types of engineered wood product, Mass Plywood Panels.
