The appearance of the building is rooted at the intersection of a simple country home and traditional ornametatal patterns. Museum’s outline with broken roof lines reminds of a small village, where ethnic culture originates and flourish.
Its facade is based on square and triangle shapes, typical for Hungarian textile ornaments. Wood in facade cladding and roofing refer to folk issues of house construction and good as sustainable material. Overall polyline shape of the building bears a resemblance with mythical bird Turul.
